[kernel-bugs] [Bug 1178304] New: No access to NFS4/KRB5 mounts after update to Kernel 5.3.18-lp152.47.2
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1178304 Bug ID: 1178304 Summary: No access to NFS4/KRB5 mounts after update to Kernel 5.3.18-lp152.47.2 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE Leap 15.2 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: andreas.hauffe@tu-dresden.de QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Hi, today I updated two Leap 15.2 machines with the kernel update from 5.3.18-lp152.44.1 to 5.3.18-lp152.47.2. After reboot and trying to login we got a black screen from KDE Plasma. We tried IceWM where at least the login process was working. But no program, e.q. firefox, thunderbird, dolphin, ..., was able to read from the NFS4/KRB5 mounted home directory. In the konsole it seems to be possible to access and read files in home. So it seems there is something wrong with kerberized NFS4 mounted directories under this kernel. When booting the machine with 5.3.18-lp152.44.1 instead of 5.3.18-lp152.47.2 everything is ok. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
