I have the same issue on a Dell Precision 5530, booting with kernel 5.7.1 results in the following kernel trace:
This is merely a kernel WARNING. Do you get the complete hang up after that point?
No, the system was still sort of responsive, but it wouldn't reach any graphical or console target. I have attached the full log from reboot until I power cycled the laptop again, maybe you can find something useful in there?
