If you have difficulties reading grub output there is the possibility to set
another GRUB_GFXMODE="????x????,auto". Please note that is has to be supported
by your hardware (grub: videoinfo, your manual).
Then you can install terminus-bitmap-fonts and play around with those fonts on
the command line of a console (Alt+Ctrl+F1): "setfont ter-132b.psfu".
When you have found a font which is usable for you edit your
/etc/vconsole.conf:

KEYMAP=de-latin1-nodeadkeys
# NT=eurlatgr.psfu # - below 4K
FONT=ter-128b.psfu
FONT_MAP=none
FONT_UNIMAP=

and perform "systemctl restart systemd-vconsole-setup.service"
