[opensuse-kde] Should we start building KDE:Applications against KDE:Frameworks5 for Leap 42.1?
I am new to the list. Sorry, if this mail does not fit into the format. As long term user of KDEPIM, I still face the problem that e.g. Akonadi needs further improvements. There are still issues with some e-mail servers and with protocols for calendars and address lists. Thus, any update of KDE to the newest version (now 16.08.0) for Leap 42.1 users is welcome from my point of view. I am used to add further repos to get e.g. KDE Applications. I would accept to add more than just one. But they need to be consistent without side effects if possible. But unfortunately, the information at either (English) https://en.opensuse.org/KDE_repositories or (German) https://de.opensuse.org/KDE_Repositorys seem to be different. At least once in the past. On the other hand, I will shift to Leap 42.2 early November and will use Tumbleweed to check if KDEPIM/Akonadi problems have been erased. Overall, the time from bug report in https://bugs.kde.org/ to the bug fix and the availability in some openSUSE version takes to long. But that is another story. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
