Moin, ich habe gerade frisch SuSE 10.0 OSS installiert, incl. KDE. Jetzt möchte ich gerne den Fixed-Width-Font über das Control Center ändern. Dort kann man neben "Fixed width" z. B. auch noch die Fonts für "General", "Toolbar" usw. einstellen. Die Auswahllisten, die ich bekomme, wenn ich auf "Choose" klicke, sind immer gleich -- nur nicht bei "Fixed width"; dort fehlt unter anderem gerade der Font, den ich einstellen will: "SuSE Sans Mono". Warum kann ich den überall wählen, nur nicht da, wo's Sinn macht? Oder gibt's einen anderen Trick? thx, Christian

This is a WORKSFORME on SUSE 10.0 with KDE 3.52. Don't remember having had this problem on KDE 3.42, KDE 3.5 or KDE 3.51. my KDE version is 3.4.2 level "b" which comes with SuSE 10.0 OSS. I checked in the "General" section. There, from the Bitstream series, I only find "Bitstram Charter". But that font, of course, is missing in the "Fixed Width" section as well. Suprisingly "Adobe courier" and "Misc Console" appear in every section. And it seems that I don't have the Dejavu font.
