Hello List, this week I have updated KDE to Version 3.5.7 "release 10.1". Since then , I can't find the floppy disk symbol in the kicker applet "Storage Media" any more. I have created a new user (just to see if there's the same behaviour). And there is also no floppy symbol. The floppy is not shown in Konqui's sidebar -> system:/media also. The same on the desktop when enabling "show devices on desktop". Configuring what devices (mounted / unmounted) to show will work for USB, CDROM, DVD, etc. , but not for the floppy drive. Anyone an idea how to get the floppy back? In the meantime I will use kwikdisk, because there is the floppy listed.
