[opensuse-kde] ksysguard rpm missing files
In the RPMs from KDE:/Release:/48/openSUSE_12.1/ there are the files missing, which come from the sourcetree in KDE kde-workspace/libs/ksysguard/scripts/ whichs leads to the problem, that the context menu in the "System Activity" (Taskmanager) does no longer include the "detailed memory report" entry. With KDE 4.6.5 on an openSuse 11.3 system I find the files in the package kdebase4-workspace-4.6.5-9.1.i586, e.g.: /usr/share/kde4/apps/ksysguard/scripts /usr/share/kde4/apps/ksysguard/scripts/README /usr/share/kde4/apps/ksysguard/scripts/smaps /usr/share/kde4/apps/ksysguard/scripts/smaps/helper.js /usr/share/kde4/apps/ksysguard/scripts/smaps/index.html /usr/share/kde4/apps/ksysguard/scripts/smaps/main.js /usr/share/kde4/apps/ksysguard/scripts/smaps/smaps.desktop /usr/share/kde4/apps/ksysguard/scripts/smaps/sorttable.js /usr/share/kde4/apps/ksysguard/scripts/smaps/style.css The files are neither in kdebase4-workspace-4.8.1-729.7.i586 nor in kdebase4-workspace-ksysguardd-4.8.1-729.7.i586 Can these files be included again, please ? -- Best regards/Schöne Grüße Martin A: Because it breaks the logical sequence of discussion Q: Why is top posting bad? It is the same with in KDE:Distro:Factory. It would be nice if you create a bug report, so it does not get lost. (I had a quick look at the package but could not figure out why these files are not included.) You can simply report it at bugzilla.novell.com for openSUSE 12.1 and component "KDE4 Workspace" and please mention that you use the KR48 repo. It is because of %exclude %{_kde4_appsdir}/ksysguard
You can simply report it at bugzilla.novell.com for openSUSE 12.1 and component "KDE4 Workspace" and please mention that you use the KR48 repo.
I didn't see a bug yet so I just had a quick look. Revision 738 on KDF/kdebase4-workspace added the above line to remove duplication, but seems to have gone too far. Commenting it out puts the files back in kdebase4- workspace-ksysguardd, but this is also not correct - this package should only contain the daemon, and it currently contains the client too.. Needs a bit of time to clean the packaging up, so please open a bug for this.
