Hello Thomas! Step 1. Edit your K menu. Step 2. Try to delete the file named "ksycoca" in the undernamed folder: "~/.kde/tmp-*/" (this is a HIDDEN subfolder in your "/home/*/" folder, where the "*" means your username). Step 3. Relogin into the KDE. IMPORTANT: Each of your K menu editing intervention must be followed by your relogin into the KDE! As SuSE Support told me, the KDE Menu Editor doesn’t work any more in SuSE 9.0, which I just installed on my Notebook. Unfortunately they didn’t give me any further information because my question is not related to the installation support I have purchased along with the distribution. As a Linux-newbie I get a bit lost in the directories and configuration files (and also in the archive of this list), so please forgive me if this may be a stupid or an already answered question.
