[opensuse-kde] KDE 4.3 - Konqueror is dead on arrival for me

Ok, then that's your answer. The feature does not seem to be important enough for volunteers to spend their time on and neither is anyone willing to spend money on it. As long as one is not willing to spend either money or time on something, one simply has to wait until others feel like doing so.
