How is KDE 3.5.2 ??
Hello SuSE KDE people, Running 10.0 Have been doing regular updates with apt. I had upgraded KDE 3.4 to 3.5.1 and had problems with Kmail and not being able to access the addressbook correctly for addressing the "To" recipient. (Reported as a bug) I reverted to 3.4.2 so Kmail would work properly. Now KDE 3.5.2 has been released. I am reluctant to upgrade because of the problem with 3.5.1. Has anyone out there upgraded and found that the Kmail bug was fixed? I hate to just try it and find out I have to revert again. That is a big PITA. Thanks guys. Comments appreciated. Bob S.

I am running 3.52 and never had any bug in KMail as you describe. Besides, if you see the KDE 3.52 release notes, you will get to know what bugs was fixed. -- Tux #395953 resides at http://samvit.org playing with KDE 3.52 on SUSE Linux 10.0 $ date [] CCE +2006-03-31 W13-5 UTC+0530

Hi Shriramana, I am using apt for upgrades. Where would I find the release notes? On the KDE site? Bob S.

It's very unlikely to have gotten worse.

Which bug # was it? Let me know and I'll have a look.
Thanks guys. Comments appreciated.
What happened regarding your post 'Mailing list management' at the beginning of March? You didn't respond to my troubleshooting questions. regards Will

Don't remember this very moment. Will have to go back and search my archives and get back to you on that.
Thanks guys. Comments appreciated.

Hmmmmm.....I sincerely apologize. Thought I did but searching for my reply was negative. Again, I apologize, very ungrateful behavior that I don't normally do. I have just responded on that thread but the ultimate "fix" was reverting to KDE 3.4.2 and Kmail 1.8 as stated above. It fixed both the addressbook problem and the Mailing List management problem. Those are the things that prompt me to question about 3.5.2. Really would rather not have to deal with fixing these little nagging annoyances. Bob S.
