problem with starting kde3 on SuSE8
Hello, I recently installed SuSE8.0 on on of our PC's. I have to use XFree3.3.6 as XFree4 does not work with our graphic card (ELSA Glloria XL). The X Server seems to work, but when I try to start kde (via startx) the kde init screen appears but after some time it crashes. I get the following error messages: DCOPServer up and running. kio (KService*): WARNING: Invalid Service : SuSE/Multimedia/Video/susewm.desktop DCOP Cleaning up dead connections. Mutex destroy failure: Device or resource busy There are already artsd objects registered, looking if they are active... Any hints are welcome ! Thanks, Andreas
