I take it that KDE4 is the default desktop since 11.0a2. But this does not yet seem to include all core packages. E.g. KDM4 still seems not be able to replace its KDE3 equivalent. And because of dependancy problems you still cannot install kdebase4-ksysguardd, because this would require the deinstallation of the KDE3 version, which in turn is required by kdebase3, which is, however, obviously needed by the KDE3 packages, e.g. KDM.
