KWeather in Kontact, Fahrenheit instead of Celsius
Is there a way to set Fahrenheit instead of Celsius for the Summary view within Kontact? I can't seem to find it in the setup anywhere. And, I can't find it in the files I have been looking at under ~/.kde/. Thanks eric

I tried that and restarted Kontact a few times, but the temps are still in C. Do I need to restart KDE/X? If so, I can do that before I go to bed. Thanks eric

The above changes and worked after I logged out. I also restarted the Xserver for good measure. But, now I see the temps in F. Thanks Eric

Uhhmm, is that a complain or are you simply stating a fact? IIUC, this is just what you wanted... Cheers, Leen

LOL! Looking for kweather kept me busy for a while, that's why I remember. We need some kind of 'In what package is that file'-feature. I think apt already has it... Hope it works if the package is not installed... Cheer, Leen

You can use 'apt install /opt/kde3/bin/kweather' if that is the executable, apt will find the package for you. Otherwise use apt-file for 9.1 and up and it indeed works if the package is not installed. For the suse versions prior to 9.1 use: http://linux01.gwdg.de/apt4rpm/home.html#contents -- Richard Bos Without a home the journey is endless
