RE: [suse-kde] KDE 3.2 beta 2 and libtag dependancy
Thanks. Someone else also pointed out that the libtag libraries are part of the TagLib project (confusing isn't it?). Knowing this I dug up this RPM for SUSE 9: ftp://ftp.univie.ac.at/systems/linux/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_9.0/base/taglib-0.95-5.i586.rpm Dan -----Original Message----- From: sebastien [mailto:scorot@libertysurf.fr] Sent: Wednesday, December 10, 2003 11:12 AM To: dfreed; suse-kde Subject: Re:[suse-kde] KDE 3.2 beta 2 and libtag dependancy I found this with the help of rpmfind.net : http://ktown.kde.org/~wheeler/taglib/ I may be what your are looking for. ---------- Initial Header -----------

Does anyone know what libtag is and where I can get it? I don't mind = compiling it and creating my own RPM for it, but I can't even find it. = I did find libtaged.sourceforge.net, but when compiled it doesn't = produce any libtag.so files, just libtaged.* files. One of the KDE multimedia packages in the latest KDE 3.2 beta require = this library, and I am uncomfortable installing with --nodeps. I did search with Yast the install CD for any packages that contain this = file, but there where no hits. Thanks for any help anyone may be able to offer. Check permissions on the files associated with it. If these are files you have copied from your old settings, you will need to reset the permissions on them still. Lee -- --- KMail v1.5.4 --- SuSE Linux Pro v9.0 --- Registered Linux User #225206 On any other day, that might seem strange...
