[opensuse-kde] No KDEsu prompt opening System/KDM settings
Hi, Opening System_settings/System/KDM panel in KDE4.3 as a normal user the menu comes up with desabled grey fields without any KDE su dialog to ask the root password, so I cannot modify any KDM4 settings. Hi Paul, I had a similar problem, see http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=511480 , which went away when I edited kdesurc and then returned it to it's original state. See :- http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-factory/2009-06/msg00126.html for the way I changed kdesurc and then returned it to it's original state. I logged out and then in after each change. Apart from KDE Kontrolcenter I don't have problem running other applications (YaST, Software Management, File Manager Root mode etc.) from KDE4 KMenu at all. Do you think it may be the same issue?
