[opensuse-kde] session kde3 option gone in kdm after upgrade

Hi, I recently upgraded kde from 4.2.3 to 4.3.4, this was quite successful. but today I'm running this config for the first time since the upgrade on a remote system (like a thin client), and it is just not nice. BTW this is on openSUSE-11.1. Hence i wanted to switch to KDE3 and see how that behaves on this system (perhaps the network changed, but I don't think so). But the option to select KDE3 is gone. How can I add KDE3 as session to back the KDE login screen? Does anybody noticed that KDE-4.3.4 is not nice to be use on a remote desktop (like a thin client). I don't know when this happened between 4.2.3 and 4.3.4 as have not installed the in between releases. Perhaps QT is to blame? -- Richard -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

After installing kdebase3-session again, the possibility to select kde3 again is now back (I almost had to fall back to gnome....). -- Richard -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
