I just decided to give Linux, SuSe 9.0 Personal, a try and possibly quit paying homage to Bill. So far I like it but there seems to be a small problem. Problem is that I can't get KMail to hook up to my mail server. It doesn't seem to be able to find the servers. The settings that I use with Outlook [ Office 200 Pro ] and Outlook express are: Incoming - pop.swbell.yahoo.com - Port 110 Outgoing - smtp.sbc.yahoo.com - Port 25 - Authentication Required In case you didn't figure it out we are using SBC/Yahoo DSL with a router feeding three computers.. KDE seems to be fine with connection and surfing, once I found the IP Redirecting switch. *<[:o) All the other applications that use the web seem to be working just fine. Just can't download, or send mail, with KMail I've tried just about every switch I can find in all the different setup places I can find. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. =====

Hi Bilie, What ip forwarding 'switch' have you enabled and where is it located? - Carl - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - C. E. Hello, Billie. Are you getting any kind of error messages? I use sbc-yahoo and don't have a problem. I had some problems getting it set up. I don't remember for sure how i solved it. I use my e-mail address as the name and I think that's what I had to do. Rich -- C. Richard Matson
