[opensuse-kde] KDE 4.7 status
Hey all; KDE 4.7 rc2 is now in KDF but Dirk will be merging 4.7 into KDF soon so you'll have to stick to your 4.7 rc2 packages until 4.7 final is released. KUSC is now back to the wild wild KDE so you may want to make sure to revert back to KDF and disable the repo for until final 4.7 is ready. Also we started merging KDE 4.7 rc2 back to Factory. Hi, Wow, you are busy! Thanks for the info. I have an info set in the German Wiki (KDE_Repolist →Factory) for Users. ↓ http://dewiki.opensuse.org/KDE_Repositories#Factory For safety reasons, not the one destroyed in his system and tells it not to have known. ;-) Have a nice WE ↓ Grüße aus dem Schwabenland, → Uwe, der Linuxsusefan ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Die SuS(i)E samt KDE sei mit euch, wo immer ihr auch seid .... ;) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ############## openSUSE Member ##############

i just downgraded to KDE factory from unstable, and while i was expecting some trouble, specially with kmail2->kmail and akonadi/nepomuk/&co, there wasn't any problem at all. i was surprised to find that i'm back to KDE 4.6.5 now, but i shoud have checked in the KDF repo (or read your message properly). could have avoided another major download in the next few days by waiting a little longer. -- phani. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Hi, i have written a Message: ↓ http://en.opensuse.org/KDE_repositories#Factory_aka._KDF_.28KDE_SC_4.7.29 for the time of the conversion of the packets from 4.6.5 to 4.7.x! Sorry, I was not faster, had to do something! that's good, but i don't go via that page every time i change a repo; so even had you been faster, wouldn't have made a difference to me. but ismail wrote that conversion from 4.6->4.7 had just started; should have paid attention, or at least checked inside the repo, what i usually do. -- phani. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Hi, I just sit here and write a message for the forum. I hope that my English is sufficient for it. It would be nice if someone checked the info and corrected if necessary. Is there a reason the publishing of KDE-pim related packages is still disabled? I have been using KUSc with KDE PIM 4.7, and now can't use it with KDF. -Todd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

You'll have to wait until Wednesday so we can enable the whole repo. The problem is that I did a dist-upgrade without realizing it would downgrade my KDE-PIM (it never occured to me that it would be disabled, since it was working fine in KUSc). This has left me without access to any of my emails. It seems the only option that would give me access to the emails is to switch entirely back to KDE:Unstable:SC. -Todd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
