[opensuse-kde] Akregator did not close correctly. Would you like to restore the previous session? Minor Annoying
It would be only on this system with openSUSE 12.2 KDE 4.10.00r1 from KR410 or just because is the only one with this mix on it. openSUSE 12.3 KDE 4.10.00r1 is not affected. Everytime the Akregator integrated on Kontact is opened this message is displayed. It doesn't matter if click on "Restore Session, Do Not Restore, Ask Me Later" options, the next session will show it again. http://paste.opensuse.org/89487407 Any advice? I run Akregator as standalone application (not within Kontact) and I don't experience that. The only annoying thing is, that when Akregator is running, I suspend the computer and after resume Akregator downloads all channels... Even it is set not to download channels on startup.

Running as standalone application gave me the same output. It only happens on x86_64. I tested on x86 with no issues. OTOH, openSUSE 12.2 KDE 4.10 gave back full pristine Desktop Effects on x86, Intel Pentium M 1.73 GHz, 2 GB RAM, Intel 915GM. Hurrah! i Any advice or lead to fix it on x86_64 is full appreciated. +1, do you know if there already is a bugreport? I assume some sort of internetconnection returned signal triggers it and the signal is not gated with a check for do not download on startup

Adding more info from Konsole. It shows KXMLGUIClient was deleted without been removed from the factory first. Is there a way to fix it? http://paste.opensuse.org/20871771 Thanks, -- Ricardo Chung | Panama Ambassador openSUSE Projects -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Thanks,
Still sending the same annoying message on openSUSE 12.2 - KDE 4.10.00r1 - x86_64. It doesn't matter what action is taken the message will show everytime akregator is opened. On openSUSE 12.3 - KDE 4.10.00r1 - x86_64 today updates fixed it up. I wouldn't file a bug report because it's only broken on oS 12.2 KDE 4.10.00r1 x86_64 afterward updates (library dependencies?) were made. Another curiosity is Akregator shows its version 4.8.5 whenever it should be 4.10. I would appreciate if anyone could confirm this issue or advice the right directions. -- Ricardo Chung | Panama Ambassador and Member openSUSE Projects Testing: openSUSE 12.3 RC 1 KDE 4.10.00 r1 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

I can confirm it. Happens very often on my home desktop (12.2/KDE4.10/x86_64) and on my office desktop (12.1/KDE4.9.5/x86_64) as well and exists at least since KDE4.8... I've just added the fix to the KDE:Release:410 package. You shouldn't see this issue anymore once the 4.10.1 packages are published. Christophe
