I continue to experience severe filter amnesia in Kmail. About 1/4th of all filters are lost one after another, sometimes with warning (an empty pop up window asking you to choose an account for the filter as "it cannot find it" others just go. Several time at the base of the filter problem there seems to be some kind of race condition when opening Plasma. I have put kmail in automatic start. Now I did set not to check for mail on startup, that saves a lot. If I will wait for at least one minute before asking tor retrieve pop mail all will be ok. But if I don't filters do not filter. All mail is just put into main mailboxes subfolders. If you run: apply all filters on this folders, it filters correctly. If you want automatic filtering to work under this conditions however, you have to logout of kde/plasma and log in. You do not have to wait this time, filtering will work.

Do you have any advice how to avoid the constant filter loss?

P.S. mail is not lost. Automatic archiving works as expected.
