I do not want to be rude, but did you read the subjectline? But i think you suggest that i try to use the KDE4 version in KDE3, no? OK, i will do a version check first. ;-)
Thanks, Dirk

It must have been in the kdeutils extra pkg, which i just installed, because now it works ;-) I must say that this is a little confusing..;-) The i-cons-sysres works now offcourse also... The KDE4 version is probably quite nonfunctional as it was more or less abandoned and the concepts were merged into plasma. Thats why trying to use the KDE4 version is probably not going to work. Is the whole KDE4 abandonned? Nobody interested in it anymore? Is there nobody out there who can tell me how to invoke a terminal in KDE4? Huh? no, its extremely active in development. start menu is currently in its early stage and will probably come in the next beta release (of KDE4).
Nobody interested in it anymore?
Not at all :)
Is there nobody out there who can tell me how to invoke a terminal in KDE4?
you should be able to run it via <ALT>-<F2>, enter "konsole". DEpending on the svn rev of the packages this is currently (was?) broken for KDE4. Sven --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

OK, or merely not OK.. I am interessted in testing for further development, for both 32 and 64 bit arch. 1) What do i need to test the revised versions? (url..) 2) Is it possible to use all the resources from the pc? 3) Will kbfx_plasma work? (if compiling is possible..) 4) where can i find the names of all the pkgs involved, and/or nessesary, to be able to something that is usefull for the further development? - -- Have a nice day, M9. add the KDE:KDE4 buildservice repository to your repo list.
4) where can i find the names of all the pkgs involved, and/or nessesary, to be able to something that is usefull for the further development?
just installing the KDE4 pattern should be enough.
