Hello, I have an ugly problem with audacious2. I know, it's not a KDE application and not even something comming from an official openSUSE repository (it is packman), still I'd like to know, how this kind of problem could be debugged/solved. Since the latest KDE upgrade to 4.3.5 (which was an official upgrade on openSUSE 11.2) text in audacious menus is not shown any more (or is on black on black, which is the same from the usefulness point of view...). It worked fine before the upgrade and still works fine when I start TWM instead of KDE. I guess it is a victim of KDE's application of its colour scheme to non-KDE apps via X resources. Try disabling System Settings' Appearance->Colours-
options->Apply colours to non-KDE applications, log out and back in.
