Two problems with Kmail: connected?

one, when an email is moved to one sub folder, it come back up in the in box as well as the sub folder, Then it can be deleted.

Two, certain files do not delete, They are greyed out in the inbox, The message pane contains the previous email contents. If I then try to delete one of these again, The message pane shows the message Retrieving folder Contents Please wait Then I can have to ctl-alt-esc to kill the Kmail

The I can restart Kmail and it works unless I try to delete one of those files

What should I do about this? It is just a guess, but I think you have a problem with your index. I am using 42.1 with the KDEPIM4 version (as you do) and there I do not encountered this
