[opensuse-kde] What's the state with Plasma 5.4 in TW
Hi, what's the state with Plasma 5.4 in Tumbleweed? 5.4.0 is already out some time and 5.4.1 will be out on Tuesday. Is there any chance in the near future that it will be added, or does one have to add the Frameworks5 repo? And is the latter functional? In 5.3 I have some stability issues (which I know I should report ;-) ) I also wonder when Applications 15.08 will hit Tumbleweed... Anyway, thanks for your great efforts with Tumbleweed. There is a nagging plasmashell crash issue, that I think is related to dual-mon with <=QT5.4 (I get plasmashell crashes every login with my second monitor turned on or in standby -- it's HDMI). There is a thread about other crashes on the kde forums that has a similar signature. I filed a bug and it was closed sighting "fixed upstream QT", so I'm assuming we won't see 5.4 in TW until QT5.5? gets there too. On 09/03/2015 11:53 AM, Stefan Vater wrote:

Plasma 5.4 has been accepted to TW yesterday, now we need to wait for a snapshot to settle. Qt 5.5 has been submitted a while back, but it's still in staging area due to libyui-qt CI troubles. Cheers, Hrvoje
