Hello Randall, I had the same problem under SuSE 9.3 after updating KDE to version 3.5.2. I found, that the program kdesu of KDE 3.5.2 is missing an option "-n". As workaround I copied the kdesu version from KDE 3.5.1. Both kdesu versions (KDE 3.5.2 and 3.5.1) reprting themselves as version 1.0. Hope this will help a little bit Regards Heinrich
