Hello all, Can anyone tell me where to find modprobe? I'm running Suse 8.0 and although the description of modutils says that it includes modprobe, it doesn't seem to be there. Thanks. Michael.

whereis modprobe If it's the same as 7.3, it should be at /sbin/modprobe . rpm -qf /sbin/modprobe which tells me that my modprobe is part of the modutils-2.4.12-67 package. -- opinions personal, facts suspect. http://home.arcor.de/36bit/samba.html
