[opensuse-kde] Mount point of an external disk
Hi, If I mount an external usb disk clicking on the device notifier icon, it is mounted in /media/<filesystem label> That's good. If the filesystem doesn't have a label, up to 11.3 it was mounted on /media/disk, now on 11.4 it is mounted on /media/<uuid>. That's ugly. How can I revert things back and have the disk mounted on /media/disk when I click on the corresponding icon in the device notifier? Other question. I like very much the possibility to mount and dismount external devices not only with mouse clicks, but also using shell commands. Up to 11.3 I used halmount. I could mount a device with halmount and dismount it from the desktop and viceversa. However, now if I mount a device from the desktop and I try to dismount it with halmount I receive this error message: /dev/sdb1: org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume.NotMountedByHal: Device to unmount is not in /media/.hal-mtab so it is not mounted by HAL I know that hal is now obsolete, so I'm asking: what command can I use now that has the same functionality of halmount? So be it, as far as I am concerned.
