[opensuse-kde] plasmoid-networkmanager and mobilebroadband
Hi, I am playing around (testing), KUSC kde 4.7rc2, or what will end up being factory... I discovered that nm kde integration is kind of broken from my usb dongle... I suspect others too... When I plug the dongle does not get detected by nm, despite dmesg not showing any issues... (nm-tool)... after a rcnetwork restart nm-tool shows it but now the plasmoid is dead... and I have seen no obvious way to restart it, should I feel a bug on this? I used the mm-test.py from modemmanager website and tells me that expects a pin [root@abbaton:/home/alin]: ./mm-test.py GSM modem Driver: 'option1' Modem device: '/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:06.1/usb2/2-4' Data device: 'ttyUSB0' Error enabling modem: org.freedesktop.ModemManager.Modem.Gsm.SimPinRequired: SIM PIN required That is despite the connection being configured with save pin option... Sometimes, when I start the computer if the modem is in I get a window asking me the pin... but still the device does not appear in the plasmoid or nm... mm-test seems to show the right info in this case... and yes... the dongle works perfectly with nm-applet... in the same kde session... Same with an eicon 225 huweai chip

For me it was continuously asking the pin code, even if it's remembered
