(SuSE 7.3; KDE 3.0.0) First of all why does Konq open up KVim embedded for text file viewing since I don't see that file association in settings? It doesn't present me with the text however just an embedded black square of nothing. When I attempt to go back to the previous page viewed Konq will then crash. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks, Anthony

Same problem. Found it highly irritating and all it did was crash Konqueror on me. I had to do a reinstall do to a major screwup on my part. When I did, I didn't install Kvim. Now I get the text pages showing like they did in KDE2. Much better. Maybe just uninstall KVim? You've still got a console for Vim if you really need it. ;-) Joe
I decided to just uninstall KVim which did the trick. Thanks, Anthony
