[opensuse-kde] rc2 problems

Hello, I ran into two problems with KDE in RC2: - thunderbird does not launch a browser anymore, when I click on URL-s, which is very annoying (update: might be this one: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=551333 ) - the "pidgin" panel icon is not scaled to the panel size, so only the upper left corner is visible of the status icon. One can barely see any status changes... Seems to me, that while KDE in openSUSE 11.2 got a lot nicer, than 4.3.1 on openSUSE 11.1, gtk apps suffer a bit. Are these known problems, or I should report them in bugzilla? The KDE Mailinglist is the wrong place for sure. Either use a general list like opensuse@ or opensuse-factory@. Sven -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Tested, comment #1 fixes the problem, so it should be applied if not too late...

Installed the binary nVidia drivers, and the problem went away on next login. So this might be also an Xorg problem... Bye, CzP -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
