I have a problem that may be similar though we can't be sure without seeing your screen shot.. :-) I can select the icon for local network, which will display icons for the domains. I can select a domain and it will display the workstations in the domain, but if I select a workstation, I receive an error dialog that tells me that there's an error, but that libsmbclient isn't reporting what it is. What's interesting is that if I specify the server/workstation name in the address bar like: smb://servername Konqueror will display the shares on that machine and let me in the shares.
