The upshot of this thread, resolved today, was that when kontact is closed with korganizer in month view, then kontact subsequently refuses to restart. A patch is listed in the thread.

2 points/questions:

1 I never had a problem leaving korganizer in month view when using the KDE43 repository. Problems only started after changing to KDE4:/STABLE:/ . Does this mean that KDE4:/STABLE:/ contains different versions from KDE43?

No, they should both be the same. I can't check because the OBS is down right now. The reasons for the crash are probably complex and you were lucky until now.

2 Not being able to leave korganizer in month view is a bit of a pain. Can we expect the patch to be applied anytime in the near future?
