Hi list! Can anybody give me a hint? I can forward emails as attachement quite perfect. It's smooth and elegant: Mark all messages to be forwarded and select "Forward -> As attachement". But if I recieve such forwarded emails I cannot really unpack them and store them as single mails. I only can view them, but I need them as single mails to sort them into folders. Only way is to save all attached mails in a own directory and then import them again into kmail. Thats really annoying... Is there no better way to do this? Greets, Daniel

Don't know about better. You can use procmail to separate attachments (and reformat the headers) and you can use formail to separate digests. It may be possible to pipe the entire message thru formail and have the parts redelivered (or thru procmail). I could do something like this with mutt, but would have no idea about kmail (but I cannot understand why anyone would want a graphical mail client???). -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org

Doesn't matter. :)) Well the tips are very interesting, but I was searching for a "kmail-like" way of doing this. Things like drag and drop the attached mail into a folder. :) Just wondering if the developer who developed the function "Forward as attachement" never thought about "What if we get_ such a mail?" Thanks anyway. Greets, Daniel
