-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi All, Does anyone know whether or not KDE 3.1 will be availble through Online Update soon? I know that you can download the files from the ftp server. But just curious if we get them also through Yast2 Online Update. - -- Jurren Bouman email: jubo.linux@euronet.nl -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+WONNJWGRJtf9/KIRAni4AJ9PpWhLRkdkJx6GQzmmV+6Ns04bvgCfR4CK feMlkavtv7aGlT+tSZothCw= =i451 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

--------------------------- Jurren, Those update files are not offered as part of YOU. YOU is primarily used for security and patches. You can use YaST2 for installing the files, I believe, as I remember someone posting the procedures on the main SuSE list recently. Here is one method I printed out from Frederik Vos: Start YaST -> Change Source of installation -> add ftp Server: ftp.gwdg.de Directory: /pub/linux.suse/ftp.suse.com/suse/i386/pplementary/KDE/update_for_8.1/yast-source Be sure that kde 3.1 is the first source (button up/down) Start YaST: add/remove software, you can now select kde 3.1 packages Hope that helps!
