[opensuse-kde] Documentation of digiKam
Currently the documentation of digiKam in openSUSE 11.4 is revision 0.10 (2009-03-05). However the documentation that is available for translation shows release 1.2 (2010-02-20). I wonder why the newest documentation of digiKam is not present in openSUSE 11.4. -- fr.gr. Because you did not install digikam-doc? (related, there is also digikam-lang) -- Richard -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

I tried to install digikam-doc, but it depends on a lower version of digiKam, namely 1.8.0. So I did break the dependency and installed digikam-doc. However this is the same revision 0.10 (2009-03-05). -- fr.gr. Where do you get the digikam and digikam-doc packages from? Sven -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

digikam-doc comes from openSUSE-11.4-Oss I do have KDE:UpdateApps and KDE:Extra repositories added to the list of repositories. digikam 1.9.0 comes from KDE:UpdateApps and so is digikam-lang. So apparently the newest digikam-doc is missing in KDE:UpdateApps. -- fr.gr. The packages in KDE:UpdatedApps are links to revisions in KDE:Distro:Factory - and digikam-doc is also missing in KDF - so the root of the "problem" is in KDF. However it seems to me that the documentation is now included in digikam and digikam-lang respectively instead of being in a separate package. So there's probably no real problem. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

True. I did not have digikam-doc installed but help:/digikam showed me the digikam documentation. So indeed digikam together with digikam-lang do not contain the newest documentation for digikam. Should I make a bug report? -- fr.gr. Freek de Kruijf -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Against whom? Guess you should start by checking if there's a mismatch between the tarball released by upstream and what is included in the openSUSE package. Imo, most likely it's an upstream bug, assuming it isn't intended. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Raised the question on kde-i18n-doc@kde.org. -- fr.gr. Freek de Kruijf -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
