Try system settings -> input devices -> keyboard -> layouts check "configure layouts" click "add" set "limit selection by language" to "German" set layout to "German" click "OK" in the list, either click "us" and then "remove", or click "de" (or whatever you called it) and click "move up". You can also set shortcuts to switch, or just use the indicator in the system tray. You should also do: system settings -> input devices -> keyboard -> advanced expand "key to choose 3rd level" and check whetever you want in order to be able to use the extra symbols on the keyboard Todd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
