Application Question
I have a question about an application. I am needing to use my SuSe linux workstation running KDE to connect to a Windows Xp System to do some work. I am needing the name of an application that I should try. Something like PC Anywhere or something like that. Any Ideas? -- Daniel J. Rychlik Java/Perl Developer

Give it a try. :) -- Ben Rosenberg ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org Tell me what you believe.. I tell you what you should see.

Use rdesktop http://www.rdesktop.org/ and enable remote administration on the machines you want to control. This works for NT4 Terminal Server, windows 2000 and XP. It is not "remote" control, it is more like running X Windows, you get a new session on the machine. It works better then VNC, but VNC allows you to work on the "real" console which is required sometimes, and also works on pre- Win 2000 machines. /Stefan
