I have installed kde4 and the needed packages as far as I can tell. However I am still having dependency issue and can't get to to run. When I try to start it from the existing kdm for a test account I've set up I just get booted back the the log in screen after a little pop-up tells my that kdeinit4 could not be started and to check my installation. When I check the log output or try to run a kde4 app from the konsole/console I get the following message:
/usr/bin/<pick a kde4 app>: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by /usr/lib/libstreamanalyzer.so.0)
I can't seem to find a libstdc++ with GLIBCXX_3.4.9, though many packages say the provide GLIBCXX 3.4 (without the denunciation for .x.x."9").
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA Curtis.

You use it on Factory ? The factory packages needs an update in that case ...
