Hello everybody, I experienced a strange behavior of KDE the last times I started it. After having logged in as user and reboot it went up and automatically logged in as the user I couldn't log in any more. Unfortuanately the keyboard wouldn't work. After rebooting several times I managed to log out the session and came again to kdm login. After logging in as another user and restarting the system again kdm appeared justb normally and now I can log in as any user again. Strange. Well synaptic told me there is some kde update - so what junkies! keep updating :-) Thanks evreybody for the suggestions made. Have fun ! Michael Eichstädt
