[opensuse-kde] No 4.7.0 in KR47
Wasn't the point of creating KR47 early to have it up and running with the SC 4.7 release announcement? So why is still a broken RC2 in it (incluging a missing kde-session package)? Just copying the packages from KUSC can't be that difficult... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Hi, please, see here in the mailing list. I think, I have read that the order for KDE 4.7 is this: KUSC → KDF (4.7.0 if stable, to go) → KR47 (4.7.0) ←| Grüße aus dem Schwabenland, → Uwe, der Linuxsusefan ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Die SuS(i)E samt KDE sei mit euch, wo immer ihr auch seid .... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ############## openSUSE Member ##############

KDE 4.7 is in KDF and KR47 but a last minute fix resulted in a mass-recompile. Packages are ready now. using KDF i got upgraded to 4.7 tonight and everything's fine; comes still with kmail 1.13.7 though. doesn't bother me because all my mail is in a local IMAP account, but i remember at least one poster to this list who was waiting for kmail2, since he couldn't get at his mail otherwise... -- phani. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Make sure you used zypper dup --from , then it should update the all packages. Thanks. -- Ismail Dönmez - openSUSE Booster SUSE LINUX Products GmbH Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

ah, thanks, that did the trick. instead of "zypper dup" i rather use the package switcher from yast2, because it's easier to see what else might get affected, but now i'm getting kmail2 again. -- phani. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
