[opensuse-kde][TW?] global X configuration "script" in /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/ is ignored

The "script": xrandr --dpi 108 --output DP-1 --primary --mode 2560x1440 --output HDMI-1 --mode 2560x1080 --above DP-1 --output DVI-D-1 --mode 1920x1200 --right-of DP-1 --output VGA-1 --mode 1680x1050 --above DVI-D-1 IceWM layout is as expected in TW (via SDDM): 4480 x 2520 2560x1080 upper left 2560x1440 lower left 1680x1050 upper right 1920x1200 lower right http://fm.no-ip.com/Tmp/Linux/Xorg/Multi/ara88-4screens-stwIceWM.txt So is TDE in 15.1 (via TDM): 4480 x 2520 2560x1080 upper left 2560x1440 lower left 1680x1050 upper right 1920x1200 lower right http://fm.no-ip.com/Tmp/Linux/Xorg/Multi/ara88-4screens-s151TDE.txt Plasma in TW does not (via SDDM): 8720 x 1440, all 4 displays side by side by side by side http://fm.no-ip.com/Tmp/Linux/Xorg/Multi/ara88-4screens-stwKDE.txt http://fm.no-ip.com/Tmp/Linux/Xorg/Multi/jrnl-ara88-4screens-stwKDE.txt http://fm.no-ip.com/Tmp/Linux/Xorg/Multi/xorg.0.log-ara88-4screens-stwKDE.tx... The script does work if I run it after starting a Plasma session. I don't have any multi-head PCs with KDE & openSUSE except with TW. IOW, all my Leaps are running TDE or KDE3, with TDM or KDM3, so I can't tell if Plasma in openSUSE ever started up respecting the xrandr script. In Fedora 32 I have Plasma on a 3 output PC, but it's using LightDM rather than SDDM. I have one 15.2 with Plasma on a single head PC. The script is respected for the purpose of specifying DPI. If there's a bug here, whose is it? KDE? openSUSE? SDDM? TW but not Leap? Xorg? FWIW, in Debians I have the script in /etc/X11/Xsession.d/, but don't have KDE on any of them anyway (TDE only, working as expected). Suggestions? (not to include user-specific configuration in any form or manner) More info: http://fm.no-ip.com/Tmp/Linux/Xorg/Multi/ -- Evolution as taught in public schools, like religion, is based on faith, not on science.
