[opensuse-kde] Konq 4.0.73 fatal crash accessing websites in 10.3/11.0

Konqueror crashes in the latest snapshots from OBS for KDE/UNSTABLE; I had previously updated to the latest version in 10.3 a few days ago, and now in 11.0 using KDE/UNSTABLE, after the most recent update, I have the same problem with similar builds (4.0.73-x). I can access a website in Konq, but within about 3 seconds, even after the site starts rendering, it crashes. Prior to upgrading to 4.0.73, it ran well, particularly in 11.0. Couldn't find an existing bug, so am I the only one seeing this, or is it a glitch with the latest snapshots, or particular to openSUSE? Cheers, KV --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Hi Kevin, I am experiencing this behaviour this as well, since update from 4.0.71 to 4.0.73 snapshot. Regards John On Monday 12 May 2008 06:03:02 Kevin Valko wrote:

unlikely, the unstable repositories do not contain many openSUSE specific patches, we mostly just package upstream releases. did you get a backtrace and can you post it? FWIW, this problem no longer exists in the latest 4.0.74 snapshots. At least, not that I can see. Konq is working fine for browsing again.
