Re: [opensuse-kde] openSUSE 13.2: gtk-key-theme-name="Emacs" /and/ Thunderbird's HTML composer
p, li { white-space: pre-wrap; }Hi, you have to register to http://bugzilla.opensuse.org It is easy to report if you follow the indications in https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Submitting_bug_reports You will then choose the distribution you use (opensuse 13.2 e.g) and then the software you are referring to. Check for duplicates if they exist. If the bug has already been reported, do set a comment to confirm it’s existence. Often if a lot of user encounter the same problem that can help to give the bug a bigger chance to be fixed. Good luck. --- Alle Postfächer an einem Ort. Hi,
Hi Alle,
[ trimmed ] then the software you are referring to.
As I mentioned, I've checked the bugs database in both openSUSE and KDE and I found no hits. The problem is, I don't know what software within KDE is responsible. :) Cheers, -- Pablo Sanchez - Blueoak Database Engineering, Inc Ph: 819.459.1926 Blog: http://pablo-blog.blueoakdb.com iNum: 883.5100.0990.1054 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Phew, a little googling [1] and I found the solution. For quick testing, I set up a (VirtualBox) VM. To override the Emacs GTK bindings, add the following to your "~/.gtkrc-2.0" - (or better, "/etc/gtk-2.0/gtkrc" so it's not overwritten any time GTK changes are made via the KDE System Configurator): --8-<---8-<---8-<---8-<---8-<---8-<---8-<---8-<-- gtk-key-theme-name="Emacs" # # Override/tweak the Emacs theme with my settings below. # binding "gtk-emacs-override" { bind "<alt>BackSpace" { "delete-from-cursor" (word-ends, -1) } unbind "<ctrl>b" unbind "<ctrl>i" unbind "<ctrl>u" } class "*" binding "gtk-emacs-override" --8-<---8-<---8-<---8-<---8-<---8-<---8-<---8-<-- -- Pablo Sanchez - Blueoak Database Engineering, Inc Ph: 819.459.1926 Blog: http://pablo-blog.blueoakdb.com iNum: 883.5100.0990.1054 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
Ugh ..
