I don't find this file in either my directory or in root's home folder. Please note that it isn't even getting to the point of displaying the KDE login screen, so I'm not sure I understand how a file in my home directory would affect it anyway. That's why I decided to look in the root folder. Any other thoughts? Thanks. -- Bill Lugg Milstar Software Support Peterson AFB, CO On Thu, 23 December 2004 10:10 am, Matt Kirk wrote:
What do I need to do to get KDE running again? I'm not seeing any errors during the boot that would lead me to the problem.
Check for a .xinitrc in your home directory and rename it something else and see if the problem is in your startup file.
