[opensuse-kde] Uninstallable Calligra for KDE:Release:47
We received a report on the KDE forums about an issue with calligra. The user is using KDE:Release:47 on openSUSE 11.4. For that repo, the only way to get the Calligra betas is through KDE:UpdatedApps. However, this version is built against openSUSE 11.4 base, which means it depends on Marble 4.6.0 and will not install with Marble 4.7.4. Would it be possible to add Calligra beta to KDE:Release:47? I know KDE:Release:47 is supposed to only be stable software, but for such a large, critical, and popular piece of software I think an exception can be made, especially since it is largely co-installable with the last stable release (kOffice 2.3) and users can pick the one they want. The only issues are a few apps that were not renamed like krita, users will receive an automatic upgrade for those. I don't know if this is acceptable or not. Another option would be to add calligra to KDE:Extra as well, and perhaps remove it from UpdatedApps (or not). This would guarantee it is available for all repos, but might still have the auto-update issue depending on each user's repo priority. -Todd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
