Hi, I updated from 9.1 to 9.3 and the sound card stoped to work. I reinstalled it with yast and it works now. However kmix behaves strangely. When I start kde a pop up in the middle of the screen appears showing "Volume" and a progress bar (at the very beginning). kmix is started and connot be killed. It seems that it does not find a suitible mixer. I found some web pages that suggested removing the KDE mixer package. I did this, kmix disappeared, but the pup is still there. It is really anoying, since this window cannot be closed. If somebody replies to this, could you please CC me directly?
