Hello SuSE people, Running 10.0 on 64 bit with recently upgraded KDE3.5. Don't know if these problems are related or separate. Stupid question I guess. Does amarok play CDs? I can't seem to load the CD into the playlist. (Can't do it in XMMS neither) Used to work. Yet if I put a music CD into my dvdrecorder KsCD opens it and plays it. (Would like to change that behavior though - Autostart somewhere I guess?) More info; If I put the CD into my cdrecorder Kscd opens, seems to be playing, but I get no sound, And yes I have the little cable from the cdrecorder to the mobo. No cable on the dvdrecorder which plays the music CD OK. AND, Kmidi I can load that and it seems to be playing but I get no sound, yet I can play midi files in Timidity.Would like to get that working so I can hear the midis on web pages and emails. All suggestions, comments, and ideas welcomed. Bob S.

Easiest way is to play the CDs with Kaffeine or better yet rip them to the HDD with KAudioCreator and mix and match any way you like. Dennisk -- Phoenix Linux Users Group "Penguins in the desert"
