Hello I'm using Suse 8.2 distribution, and I must say that it has some great capabilities in contrast to RH8.0 I used previously. I have few minor problems, though. In konqueror I can't access local network with lan://localhost/. I get blank right panel, no error, no shares. I used to get FISH and SMB for shares, and clicking on FISH would take me to my home dir (being shared with samba2.2.7), clicking on SMB would result in an error stating - "This is a KDE bug..." If I manually enter hostname eg. lan://some_hostname/, i get list of shares, on that host, so I would need to manually enter every hostname on the LAN to access it. Is there a solution to this? regards ,himba

Dp you have lisa running: /opt/kde3/share/apps/lisa/README (rpm /kdenetwork3-lisa-3.0.3-75.i586.rpm) -- Richard Bos Without a home the journey is endless

There are several known issues atm, but we are working on it. Since some fixes will need samba 3.0 it is unlikely that an update package will be provided for 8.2 ... bye adrian ********************************************************************** Adrian Schroeter SuSE AG, Deutschherrnstr. 15-19, 90429 Nuernberg, Germany email: adrian@suse.de (1000 mails already received today.)
