I had KDE3 working after an update about a week ago on my SuSE 7.1 box. I had updated to KDE3 from the SuSE ftp site, and then made some changes to the configuration files as documented by someone on the main SuSE english list. I noticed that there were some new updates, including a new QT3 package, so I installed those. When I did, it seemed to break the starting of KDE3 from the KDM login manager. Instead all I get is an xterm. If I type KDE3 in the xterm, KDE3 starts. This is true for any Window Manager I select in the KDM logon screen. Can someone tell me where I can repair these window manager links? Thanks, -ronc -- 4:29pm up 13 min, 1 user, load average: 0.21, 0.34, 0.21
