this is (for now) intentional. For Plasma 5.8 the priority was to get it into Leap 42.2, so the branding got created for Leap and is used for TW as well now. As IMO it also looks good on TW I haven't yet felt the need to change it and I wouldn't even know what to change it into. Anyone with an idea or, even better, directly usable QML code or mockup thereof, is encouraged to present it on this list, of course ;-) Cheers, Fabian

the lightbulb in TW is quite attractive. Please do not be concerned to change it. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
Yes it is very attractive but it is Leap artwork. Leap and Tumbleweed needs to be distinctive (mixing them is confusing). ----- Original Message -----

the lightbulb in TW is quite attractive. Please do not be concerned to change it. That's true, the wallpaper in question looks very nice, please don't do anything to drop it. I wish I had this one, but it is missing from wallpaper selection dialog and I have no clue about what package do I need to install to finally get this nice lightbulb…

Hi Fabian, I suggest to use the image displayed in Tumbleweed when system boots (infinity with three circles changing suggesting progress). Regards, Cristian ----- Original Message -----

Hey Cristian! Congratulations, you belong to the few who see this image... ... End of joke... I think it isn't a good Idea to reuse this image. Better take the the same as the Tumbleweeds desktop background (instead the one from Leap 42.1) with the rotating circle which is shown now. Herbert

Hi Herbert, Unfortunately, I can see it "in my imagination". At home, where I have a "real" install of TW I never see it. At work , I have TW in vmware and it appears one of 50 boots or something... I also logged a bug for this (please see https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1002875) but there is no activity on it.
